"The artist works her abstractions out of the surface, sometimes in a strongly expressive gesture. This can also be seen particularly well in her "material works", in which she works with fabric or (found) wood and thus congenially develops works that accompany her painting . Color fields are painted over, left out, scratched off.(...) Sensory-emotional studies emerge, which can be understood as statements on questions about the rhythm of life, about recurring biological structures."
